A sure sign of oil-contaminated brake pads and rotors is loss of braking power and lots of noise. If you have that, check there are no oil leaks around the caliper pistons or from elsewhere, clean the living daylights out of the caliper, rotor and surrounds with isopropyl and hot soapy water and fit new pads.
